What will be in this blog?

So I've decided to create a review blog for books and here it is! This blog will be used solely for book reviews, recommendations, book of the week/month etc. And the theme I'll be tackling is Romance! Contemporary romance, new adult, young adult and historical romance to be precise.

No paranormal romance? Fantasy? Dystopian? What's up with that?

I can't guarantee reviews on those type of genres (romance) simply because

A little background on me:

I read books since I was 12, before I had no other interest other than school and TV (I didn't know what was Internet back then). Picked up my first adult book at 14; my first buy, my first novel, the starter of an obsession.

To make matters worse, my close friends are book addicts as well but sadly don't share the same enthusiasm in my absolute favorite genre as me (Sorry gals I love y'all but I can't even talk about romance books without you guys pulling a face or lack of response). So who else to talk about the book with if not strangers visiting this blog who share my love of romance books?

What to expect in terms of reviews?
Gifs, 24% bad grammar and spoilers. I don't sugarcoat my reviews and can be critical at times. Just because I like certain authors doesn't mean I'll give them good reviews. Also, just because there are some negative stuff in the reviews doesn't mean they're bad (unless it's 50 Shades I mean dude no). Last but not least, don't let bad reviews stop you from reading books. Not everyone share the same love for a certain book as you.

Rating system:
For now I'm using my Goodreads rating. Except I have yet to find any stars to put in my ratings (will do soon!)
